The Pilot Station of Yantai has recently launched our new 20 m pilot and service boat with special characteristics; among classical specifications for this type of boat, requirement of the owner was to have a real meeting room to hold meetings during some head managers transport mission.
Thanks to the experienced Lomocean naval architect company from New Zealand, this special arrangement has been perfectly achieved and the hull design ensures good stability, which is particularly appreciated with such arrangement.
Powered by Caterpillar engines C18 (2 x 873hp), this pilot boat has a speed of 22 knots and carry in total 18 crews and passengers.
Following this order, Aurora is building 5 other “pure” pilot boats (Naiad 17.3 m 2 x 715 hp 27 knots) for the same Pilot Station.
